"Good Day at Home" by Logan Kraft

Here I stand six foot one inch tall
But I never thought I could feel so small
Finally put all my chips on the table
Because I thought I was ready and able
But I guess I was wrong so what to do
What to do until I see this bad time through

I'll have a good good day at home
Relaxing on my own
With my feet up on the couch
Pretending I'm a slouch
I won't go outside anymore
Explore the world inside my door
When I have my confidence back
I'll return on the attack

Took of high flying towards the sky
Thought I could kiss my ordinary life goodbye
Cause I'll do anything for fortune and fame
I just want everyone to remember my name
But I guess this ain't my time
Right now no one wants to hear me rhyme

I'll have a good good day at home
Relaxing on my own
With my feet up on the couch
Pretending I'm a slouch
I won't go outside anymore
Explore the world inside my door
When I have my confidence back
I'll return on the attack

I know that I can't stay in here long
It's just that right now I don't feel so strong
My knees are shaking my feet aren't steady
But in a day or two I'll be ready

I'll have a good good day at home
Relaxing on my own
With my feet up on the couch
Pretending I'm a slouch
I won't go outside anymore
Explore the world inside my door
When I have my confidence back
I'll return on the attack
