The Logan Kraft Band

John has played a number of instruments in addition to keyboard throughout his life. He started on saxophone and has picked up the others along the way. He first became friends with Logan in high school where they started a band together with 4 other members and played around town.

John has studied the last four-and-a-half years as a music education major at Texas Tech University. In Lubbock, TX he played with many other musicians and formed another band with Chris McGinty called Graywood where John also played keyboard.

In addition, John has composed soundtracks for over 10 student films, 3 independent films, and 1 documentary (recently picked up by PBS). The films he has worked on have been entered and received honors from film festivals world-wide. Other compositions for jazz band and chamber groups have been performed around the country by professionals, universities, and high schools. But nothing is quite like the rush of playing live in a group like The Logan Kraft Band!
